Lavender fields and agritourism Pekici

Not far from the center of Svetvinčenat, in the village Pekici, there is one of the most beautiful lavender fields. The intoxicating scent of lavender will take you to a field of as many as 36,000 lavender seedlings cared for by owner Aleksandra. The long tradition of growing lavender has been in the hands of her family for 13 years, and they use lavender flowers for various cosmetic preparations, souvenirs, but also as a specific addition to dishes and drinks that you can only taste here.

Agritourism Pekici also offers an interesting gastronomic experience. Try Istrian manestra, cheese or strudel, and definitely don’t miss the homemade Istrian pasta: pjukanci and ravioli filled with cheese with various combinations of sauces, from goulash, game, forest mushrooms or wild asparagus.

Therefore, in addition to relaxing in the picturesque landscape, you will also enjoy traditional Istrian delicacies.
